The Reading Room
The HCL Reading Room is open to the public free of charge. At this place, you may read and use the archives and collections for your research. We have an expert staff that can help you find your way. A large part of the archives and collections have finding aids and indexes, that will give you an idea of their contents. The original records will be brought to you from the repositories, so you can read them in the Reading Room. Frequently used documents have been put on microfilm or have been digitized, so researchers can help theirselves. You can get photostats of most post-1850 documents.
